Made this super delicious yet healthy BEETROOT RAITA for lunch today. The recipe is-
Ingredients:
2 small cups beetroots grated
Yogurt 2 cups
Rock Salt
Mustard oil 2 tsp
Roasted jeera and red chilli powder
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds, cumin seeds, pinch of Hing (for tempering)
Chaat masala
Procedure: Grate the beetroot finely. Add yoghurt to it and mix well. Add all the spices such as roasted jeera and roasted red chilli powder , rock salt, chaat masala . In a pan , add mustard oil. Add pinch of hing and splutter the cumin and mustard seeds. Add this tempering to the yogurt mix. Mix well. Check and adjust the salt. Garnish with coriander leaves. Refrigerate and serve cool. This can be eaten with lunch or just like that, as it makes a wholesome healthy meal .
